About us
Academic Mountain Club „Halny” is a typical touristic organization. It means that everyone can find here something relevant. We organize weekend mountain trips, bicycle trips, winter skiing camps, summer expeditions and many many more. Our offer is directed to anyone who wish to travel and don't want to spend lots of money. You don't have to possess any extra skills - your good will and a little bit of ambition is all you need!
Our Club is situated in Student House no. 6 (św. Rocha 11B), room no. 9. If you don't know where is it simply click on the map. We meet once a week on Tuesdays at 7pm. During the meetings we plan the nearest Club events, recollect past ones. If you are full of beans and have lots of original ideas you are trully welcome. Moreover, you can borrow maps or touristic magazines („npm”, „National Geographic Traveler”) from our library. We can also rent you the equipment for your next expedition.
Almost on every Thursday we invite you to one of our photo presentation. They take place i hall no. C-10 located in new Lecture Centre near Warta River. If you don't know this place the following map might be helpful. Presentations start at 7.30pm but we recommend to appear a little bit earlier as they are usually overcrowded.
